I was lucky enough to see Comet Lovejoy this morning (Christmas Eve morning). What a great name for a Christmas comets (and how fortunate that Terry Lovejoy was the discoverer!). Photographed near Gerringong, NSW:
And if that was not enough, the International Space Station decided to fly by, only moments later :)

A Youtube time lapse of Christmas Comet Lovejoy here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gP_8GIc8oj4 (the video is a collaborative effort between myself and David Finlay).
Comments welcome. :)
P.S. I have received some reports claiming that it's not the ISS, but Santa and his reindeer getting up to speed! :)
