My apologies for not posting this image yesterday, but I had an appointment to have my eyes tested. One of those tests where they put eye drops in to open the pupil up to the max (and totally screw up your vision in the process), and I was not really up to staring at a bright computer screen afterwards.

Because I knew I had the eye test, I took some "safety images" beforehand, just in case the worst happened and I wasn't able to take a photo after the test, but as it turns out I didn't like any of them. Luckily for everyone concerned, I wanted to capture how dilated and huge my pupils were, and even though I could not see too well, I managed a couple of images in reasonable focus.

So here it is, my photo for January 19, 2012:

See my pupil? Now I know what cats feel like! See those cool (and slightly worrying) squiggly lines in the corner of my eye? Ewwww! Those are the reason why I will probably never try to take a photo like this again. Just sayin'.... :)

P.S. Bonus point to anyone who can tell what camera and flash combo I was using to take this pic. ;)
