Today I wanted you to have another look at my bookshelf. It seemed appropriate. Today is an important anniversary: 43 years ago today, men first walked on the Moon. Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the Moon and walked on its surface while Mike Collins orbited a mere 60 miles above. They returned safely to Earth only four days later, on July 24, 1969.

Humans last walked on the moon in December 1972. When will we go back?

  1. Scarily, I remember watching this happen. School assembly so we could all see it.

  2. Sadly, there are generations of people who don't even know (or believe) that it happened!
